COMMISSION INFORMATION.

With 10+ years of writing experience, I have a wealth of knowledge in writing stories, novels, games, plays, and screenplays, and am excited to take your commission on! I am also able to edit and critique your fiction.

While I specialise in lyrical and dark writing, I am well-versed in all genres and can write or emulate any style you wish! My writing samples can be accessed here and body of work can be found here. To summarise:

I've been selected as a HarperCollins Writer's Academy alternate and was chosen to be a part of Olumide Popoola's "The Future Is Back" writing workshop for emerging writers.

My writing has been featured in the anthology "sunmouth".
I have been hired as a writer on an animation team and contracted to write for a game studio.

I have also directed and written multiple games and visual novels:

PERSONAL USE.

My personal use rates are:

£0.08 or $0.10 USD/word.

Projects and stories are for personal and non-commercial use. This means you may only use the commission for your own reading pleasure or for display on non-monetised personal websites. If displayed publicly, you must identify @rosesrot as the writer.

I reserve the right to display and/or publish the story publicly as part of my portfolio with credit to you for the scenario and characters. If you wish to keep your story private, this will incur a 30% fee on top of the commission price.

If the character(s) in the story are part of a public project (eg. an animation, a serialised story, etc.) and/or you intend to use the piece for advertising purposes, you must pay the commercial usage fee.

The maximum word count for personal use stories is 2000 words. If you wish to surpass this limit, please contact me to discuss this.

Payment is upfront.

COMMERCIAL USE.

My commercial rates are:

£0.20 or $0.25 USD/word.

Projects and stories are for commercial use. This means that I will have licensed you the commission which you can use to earn money from. You must identify @rosesrot as the writer.

If you would not like to credit me, you can pay a ghostwriting fee which is +100% of the commission.

Projects longer than 10,000 words will incur a complexity fee. The complexity fee varies depending on the project and is weighted in terms of the degree of research, plotting, branching (if a game), and continuity assurance needed. Projects under 10,000 words are unlikely to incur the complexity fee. However, if this is the case, I will inform you as soon as possible.

If you intend to commission a complex project, please contact me to discuss this.

Payment can be done upfront or through a payment plan, which can be discussed through DM's.

EDITING AND CRITIQUE.

My editing rates are:

£35 or $45 USD/hour.

I am glad to edit and critique anything from academic to fictional writing. This price includes line edits as well as holistic developmental edits.

Projects longer than 10,000 words will incur a complexity fee: this varies depending on the project and is weighted in terms of the degree of research, plotting, branching (if a game), and continuity assurance needed. If you intend to commission a complex project, please contact me to discuss this.

Payment can be done upfront or through a payment plan, which can be discussed through DM's.

Payment is done via bank transfer ($ or £), Wise ($ or £) or Paypal (£).
Delivery will range from 2 weeks to 1 month. I will let you know if your commission has been delayed.
If you want the story or my edit and critique within 3-5 days' time, a rush fee of 50% to the price can be applied.
No refunds are permitted after I begin drafting.
